Jungle and ocean sound effects can be heard in the background, with minor additions of sound in petz 5. Tropical butterflies, beetles, and mosquitoes also appear on occasion. In Petz 5, it is one of four playscenes with a minigame. These toyz include a Treasure chest, a jewelled skull, messages in bottles, coconuts, different tropical feathers, a pirate flag, a parrot plush (which can be added to the carry-case) and gold doubloons. It is a travel scene, and its host characters are Jones the mutt and Pharaoh the siamese. However, you can take them anywhere in petz 4, but the game prevents you from adding them to the toy closet. ![]() As with the other playscenes, toyz can be found in the island that fit the pirate-like theme, but many of them are 'hidden toyz' and can't be added to the carry-case in petz 5 unless hexed. It features an atmosphere similar to the beach scene.
